Oddly, it does just what the label says: It boosts your mare's pregnancy percentage forward by 10%. Careful: You can only use this ONE time during the entire 3 day pregnancy.
To use one, rez it near the mare, then click the mare and (from the blue dialog menu) choose food, consumables and then "preg booster." You'll see that choice at the top left of the blue dialog menu.
